Help Us Realize Our Vision!
Greenleaf TK8 is a thriving TK-8 school in the heart of East Oakland that has become a model within Oakland Unified School District. Our K-5 program is a Dual Language program, where students learn in English and Spanish.
We pride ourselves in students building strong literacy skills. In 2022, Greenleaf was #1 in growth in reading for African American students across the district according to iReady and #7 for Latinx students.
In the 2022 school year, we have expanded our offering of Music and Art for students across the grade levels, including offers of music for students from TK-8. We have an incredible library with books in both English and Spanish for our students.
Our funds from EdFund have gone towards items such as bringing visiting artists, purchasing uniforms for our Middle School students, teacher and volunteer appreciation lunches and prizes for our weekly BeLeaf ticket raffle for students.
Thanks to supporters like you, we are able to continue supporting our students to achieve success in college and beyond.
