Meet our Principal
Lorilei Aguinaldo
Ms. Aguinaldo is excited to continue at Greenleaf as the interim Principal. This marks Ms. Aguinaldo’s 18th year at Greenleaf. She started out as a 4th grade teacher and was in the classroom for nine years before becoming the Math Instructional Coach, and eventually the Assistant Principal last year. During her time at Greenleaf, Ms. Aguinaldo has played a role in establishing the strong culture, traditions, and academic excellence that continues to be evident.
Ms. Aguinaldo graduated with a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, received a teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach, and received her administrative credential from California State University, East Bay. Before moving to Oakland, she grew up in San Diego and often goes home to visit family. When she’s not at Greenleaf, Ms.Aguinaldo enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and baking delicious treats.
Throughout her career, Ms. Aguinaldo has been committed to advocating for all students and families, and ensuring that every student has access to a strong education, as well as positive and safe learning environments. She is thrilled to continue and grow in the Greenleaf community and is grateful for this new opportunity.
